The LIP LABEL's creative team wanted to bring to life the manufacturing process of the shoes. Therefore, they presented us with the challenge of developing an advertising film that contemplated the factory process without putting aside the editorial line of the brand.
Designed in Barcelona. Made from 100% Italian leather. Handcrafted in Portugal.
The manufacture process of a product tells just part of the story.
Therefore, we decided to add an extra layer, with the inspirations of the product and the people who wear it, in order to express the creative concepts of the brand.
Cut.
The film editing was one of the most important aspects of the film. We used resources like the match-cut and the parallel editing process (between the rhythm of the machinery and the random shots defined by the brand concepts) to give a more energetic feeling with a large variety of color, shapes and sounds.
Sound Design.
Another fundamental aspect of the video dynamic was the sound. With that in mind we tried to record every machine sound on the factory during the shooting. Since we could not stop the factory's production, sometimes we had to resort to foley techniques in post production to achieve the right sound.
Social Media.
Another desire of the brand was its connection with the end user. At Pawk we know that one of the most effective ways of achieving that is through social media, That way, we produced extra visual content to fulfill the brand's creative team needs. We invited the photographer Rita Silva to take some editorial photos during the shooting. We also made a series of three teasers with some different shots.
